Meet Libbie

Hi, I’m Libbie—pet lover, proud grandma, and the heart behind Heavenly Paws Pet Care Services.

In February 2022, my husband Mike and I moved from Florida to Madison, Mississippi to help care for my mother, who was very ill at the time. Just two months before we arrived, I experienced the heartbreaking loss of my only child. My mother passed away in August of the following year, and while those months as a full-time caregiver were filled with deep love, they also left little time to connect with the community around me.

After her passing, I found myself praying for new purpose—and God gently led me to start Heavenly Paws.

Heavenly Paws began with a simple but powerful calling: to care for animals with love, dependability, and heart. Through dog walking and pet sitting, I’ve had the privilege of supporting pets and their families with thoughtful, trustworthy service that feels like an extension of home.

Animals have always had a special place in my life. Mike and I share our home with Oreo and Tiger—two sweet cats we adopted from Webster Animal Shelter here in Madison. Over the years, I’ve raised many dogs, especially Bullmastiffs, and I truly believe that pets are more than companions—they’re family.

Today, I’m proud to be planting roots and opening my heart to the Madison community. I’m also launching the Heavenly Paws Pet Club, a heartfelt initiative that brings fellow pet lovers together each month for pack walks, visits to nursing homes and hospitals, and service projects like collecting donations for Webster Animal Shelter. We’re exploring even more ways to spread joy—including “Blessing of the Pets” celebrations, pet parade days, and seasonal outings with a purpose.

At Heavenly Paws, every tail wag is sacred, and every pet is treated with the love, respect, and joy they deserve.

Booking, Cancellation, Weather, & Emergencies

Booking Policy

• Services must be booked at least 48 hours in advance to ensure availability.
• Bookings can be made via phone, text, email, or through our website’s request form.
• For new clients, a complimentary meet & greet is required before the first service to get acquainted and ensure a perfect match for your pet.
• Holiday bookings (Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.) should be made at least 7 days in advance. Availability is limited and spots fill up quickly!
• Payment is due on or before the date of service unless other arrangements have been discussed.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made 24 hours or more in advance will receive a full refund or credit toward future services.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may incur a $15 cancellation fee, as this time was reserved just for your pet.
• No-shows or last-minute cancellations (within 2 hours of the scheduled service) will be charged the full service fee.
• For overnight pet sitting or holiday bookings, cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance may result in a partial charge, due to high demand and schedule blocking.

Weather & Emergency Policy

• If weather conditions make travel unsafe, Heavenly Paws reserves the right to reschedule or modify services.
• Emergency cancellations or changes due to illness, injury, or other unforeseen circumstances will be handled with compassion and flexibility.

Your first visit will involve listening closely to the instructions you provide for the service requested. Our goal is to provide a meaningful service for you and a stress-free experience for your pet.

What areas do you serve?

We currently serve Madison, Rankin, and Hinds Counties. Other areas may be available upon request.

What types of pets do you care for?

We primarily care for dogs and cats but are also happy to look after small animals like rabbits, hamsters, and birds.

What types of services do you provide?

We offer in-home pet sitting, dog walking, overnight stays, vacation care, and wellness checks—including feeding, playtime, medication, and potty breaks.
